11 year old British girl killed in France
An 11-year-old British girl has been killed in france. This little girl was shot dead and her father had been terribly wounded. It was their Dutch neighbour who opened fire and brought harm their way.
The neighbour has been identified as a pensioner who is 71 year old.
This happened in northwestern France. The family had been in ther home on Saturday night when this neighbour suddenly appeared with his weapon.
This was around 10pm that day. The law enforcement officials had stepped in after the gunshots. This was revealed in a statement that was released yesterday, Sunday by the Quimper public prosecutor Carine Halley.
They found the 11 year old girl dead at the scene of the incident. The father had been injured seriously.
They revealed that the second child wasn't harmed but in shock and the mother wasn't in danger as well.
The police are still conducting investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting.
They revealed that it appears as the two families have had issues for many years regarding a plot of land adjoining the two properties
The neighbour had opened fire over the hedge and then went back to his home with his wife.
Both he and his wife have been arrested.
