Ilebaye reveals she has never been in a relationship
Popular Big brother Naija All-stars winner, Ilebaye has revealed that she has never been in a relationship. The Bbnaija star stated this in a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo. Recall Ilebaye emerged as the winner of the recently concluded BBnaija All-stars show which came to an end on the first of October 2022. She was originally on the Level up season 7 in 2022 before coming to the All-stars season in 2023.
Ilebaye is a 22-year-old actress and a model. She is from Kogi state. While speaking with Chude on a recent episode of his With Chude podcast, she disclosed she has never been in a romantic relationship, and she blamed it on how she was raised and the kind of parents she had. Cude had asked the question saying, “have you been in a relationship before, in the past?” she then replied saying No.
Chude appeared to be surprised at her response especially since she is known famously as a Gen Z baddie. People wouldn’t expect such a response from such a person.
He stated “Why not? What’s going on?” he revealed that he knows it was a private question but as an interviewer he would pry into her life. He continued saying “the first time you were in the house, one of the first things that came out was that you said you had never, how do I ask this question.. you had never known a man, okay… you had never had sex before. That was something that came out of the house and people were shocked”
He then asked “first and foremost, why did you share that? Or was it that you were just gisting in the house and it just came out? Was there a particular significance to that? Is it a religion thing?”
Ilebaye then responded “no, it was nothing. We were just gisting. Theres nothing serious about it.” Chude pushed further wondering how some who is known as a Gen Z baddie, who was born after 1998 in the generation of TikTok has never been in such a relationship or had sex. She then attributed this to her parent being strict which had contributed to how she was raised.
She stated “My dad is strict sha. But I don’t know”
