Imo supermarket owner abducted by some kidnappers
The owner of a well-known supermarket in Owerri, Imo State has been kidnapped. The police command in Imo state have confirmed the News of the kidnap.
The supermen is a popular one and it's known as Johnny Supermarket located in Owerri, Imo state.
The owner has been identified as John Ugorji and he was abducted last Friday.
It was the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Henry Okoye, who confirmed this to skem newsmen in the state.
He said the police had rescued a distress call about the kidnap but when they arrived there the man was long gone. The kidnapper had taken him already.
He got the information from an eyewitness in the area who saw the kidnappers dragging a man out of his vehicle and taking him away.
The suspects escaped with their victim before the police arrived at the scene.
The victim's family has not yet made an official report to the police.
The police have also commenced their investigation into this case.
