Lagos State Government discovers 86 illegal rooms under Ikoyi bridge

The Lagos State Government has discovered 86 illegal rooms constructed under the Ikoyi bridge in Dolphin Estate, where tenants are made to pay N250,000 yearly rent. This news was relayed to the public by the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water, Tokunbo Wahab, via the X platform. He further revealed that the enforcement team had dismantled the partitions used for the rooms including a container that contained illegal items.

He added, "A total number of 86 rooms, partitioned into 10x10 and 12x10, and a container used for different illegal activities were discovered under the Dolphine Estate bridge.
