Legalize Marijuana in Nigeria, man tells the Federal Government
An elderly man sends a memo to the Federal Government urging them to legalize marijuana in Nigeria. He said that the prohibition of Marijuana in Nigeria came into play after Western countries enforced a law forbidding marijuana in their country. As a result, Nigeria followed suit by prohibiting Marijuana in the country and has since then refused to legalize it.
This man claimed that Western countries have begun legalizing marijuana because research has proven that it isn't harmful, unlike tobacco. So, the Nigerian government should also start pondering on legalizing marijuana in the country, especially in Ondo state because Marijuana is unlike tobacco and other hard drugs that cause harm to people's health.
