Man sexually assualts teenage girl at gunpoint
A man who has been identified as Idris Abdullahi sexually assaulted a teenage girl at gunpoint.
This man is a 39 year old man and the girl he raped is 15 years old.
He has been remanded by a Makurdi Upper Area Court in Benue State, yesterday, Friday.
The Magistrate who is Mrs Dooshima Ikpambese, wad the one who ordered this. She ordered that this man be remanded in the Maximum Correctional Centre in Makurdi.
This is until advice of the state director of public prosecutions has been given.
The defendant pleaded for want of jurisdiction but the magistrate didn't accept this plea.
She then adjourned the case until the 20th of July for mention.
They also transferred the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Makurdi
