Mason Greenwood is not slowing down on his fairytale return to top-level performance with Getafe in La Liga
The Manchester United loanee found the back of the net for Getafe as they saw off Granada with a 2-0 victory in La Liga on Monday, January 29.
Greenwood scored a sleek near-post finish to fire the home side into the lead. Reading the lines of Granada's defense, the prolific right-winger quickly cut in into his left foot and then clipped an effort outside the area. Granada goalkeeper Augusto Batalia was wrong-footed with the lobbed shot which flew like a measured projectile into the net.
After the goal, the Barcelona target ran to the corner flag and celebrated with his Getafe teammates.
Getafe would double the lead 15 minutes later with Borja Mayoral on the scoresheet for the hosts. The first-half double was enough to power the home side to a deserved victory after the final whistle, thanks to another statement performance by Greenwood.
