A member of the House of Representatives was sent out of their meeting today for his mode of dressing.

This man was wearing a Red T-shirt and brown trousers. He was sent out due to his 'improper dressing'

This man had walked in towards the end of the proceedings that day wearing this outfit but he was pointed out and sent away

He had sat in the section which is used as an alternative Chamber by the members of the house of Representatives.

Billy Osaweru who is of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State raised a point of order. He called everyone's attention to this man who was not dressed properly for this meeting.

He mentioned that his dressing was contracting to the dress code which is meant for members of the House.

The dress code for the members in school meetings is a either a suit and tie as stated in the house rules or another outfit which is allowed Is a total traditional attire for the members who would attend the plenary

He stated that the rules of the house were proper dressing in accordance with the dress code when coming for a plenary. He called the attention of the speaker and all others in the chamber to this.

As he was speaking, the member who flaunted the rule stood up and walked out of the Chamber.

The Speaker who is Tajudeen Abbas then said “point of order complied with”.
