Peter obi sympathizes with Wizkid over mother's demise
Nigerian Politician Peter Obi has sympathised with popular Afrobeats musician Wizkid over his mother's death. Peter Obi was the 2023 Presidential candidate for the Labour Party (LP).
Wizkid is an award winning Afrobeats artist. He lost his mother Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun on Friday around 1.30 am.
Peter obi took to his Twitter account to share his condolences for Wizkid and his family. He revealed how painful the death of a loved one is, especially a mother. He then shared some prayers for the family during this period.
He wrote "On behalf of the OBIdient family, I sincerely commiserate with Mr Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, (Wizkid), who reportedly lost his beloved mother. The death of a loved one is a very painful experience, more so a beloved mother"
"Dear Wizkid, may God Almighty who called her home grant her eternal rest in His kingdom and grant you and your family the fortitude to bear her irreplaceable loss.
