President Tinubu is clueless...He does not know what he is doing, former NHIS Executive Secretary says
Professor Usman Yusuf, the former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme was invited to speak about the governance of Nigeria on the Morning Show at Arise News. He said that the current president of Nigeria is clueless on how to rule this nation, and has no idea about what he is doing. He said the APC has no plans on how to move the country forward which is why the hardship keeps soaring higher.
He blamed President Tinubu for rushing to remove the subsidy on fuel without having a plan to fall back on when things go south. While speaking with the host of The Morning Show, Usman added that President Tinubu is in denial. "The primary cause of what we are going through today is the recklessness of this government and this president where suddenly removing subsidy on the day he was inaugurated. Without looking at the balance sheet of the country, without consulting, and without knowing what the problems are."
Professor Usman blamed President Tinubu for being the root cause of the economic changes because he didn't have a feasible plan to prevent the citizens from feeling the effects of subsidy removal. He also suspected that the President was advised by some inexperienced economic experts who didn't have an idea of how the Nigerian economy truly operates.
