The Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi has revealed that President Tinubu hardly sleeps at night due to the very bad economy he inherited from former president Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

The former governor of Ebonyi State stated this during the inspection of the Aba axis of the Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway in Abia State on Saturday, January 27th, 2024. Umahi ordered the security agencies to arrest the highway traders and charge them in court. He said their trading activities hinder the completion of the road and they also obstruct the free flow of traffic. Umahi expressed disappointment over the dumping of refuse on the roads of Aba saying it is not encouraging to see people disorganize the roads after a huge sum of money had been spent by the government to repair it.

Umahi urged Nigerians to support the president in improving the economy and also support themselves. Hinting that Pres. Tinubu has been having sleepless nights over the current situation in the country, he added that the citizens should also play their part in leadership just as the government is doing.
