Nigerian singer Yemi Eberechi Alade has revealed why she doesn't get much recognition as an artist in Nigeria.
In an interview, Yemi Alade disclosed that there was a time when she was under pressure from almost everyone in the industry because they wanted to sleep with her. They made it clear to her that if she didn't agree to their terms, she wouldn't get what she wanted. Yemi Alade said that is one of the reasons why she doesn't win awards in Nigeria.
Despite being the most viewed Nigerian female artist on YouTube, Yemi Alade doesn't get any recognition or nominations in Nigeria. She revealed that they blocked everything for her because she wasn't ready to give in to their demands. Despite her challenges, Yemi Alade said she is happy because she has her dignity, making money and she has genuine fans around the world who love her.
