From Ojuelegba to London, King of Afrobeats Wizkid stays grounded in his musical career as he takes Tottenham Hotspur stadium by storm on Saturday, 28th July 2023.

Wizkid became the first African artiste to sell out a 62,850 capacity stadium, the 3rd largest in the heart of London, Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Celebrities and important personalities including Alex Iwobi, Bukayo Saka, Letitia Wright, Wande Coal, The Caveman, L.A.X, Seyi Vibez, King Promise, LilKesh, DJ Maphorisa, Ms Banks, among others came out en masse for the superstar on Saturday.

Wizkid started the night with a grand opening as he came on stage in a red outfit recreating a famous look of the music legend Michael Jackson.

With the fog effect and lights in the background and an eagle being displayed on the screen to signify his popular nickname 'The Biggest Bird', fans were raving as Wizkid performed Reckless, the intro of his Made in Lagos album, as his first song of the night.

He sang, "I know say Dem go pray for my downfall" telling haters and naysayers to take heed because he is still the King.

Wizkid performed many hits, taking us back to the old times, from the Superstar era, Ayo era, Sounds From The Other Side, to the Made in Lagos era, keeping us convinced that he never misses when it comes to music.

The superstar performed songs including Caro, The Matter, Ojuelegba, Don't Dull, Wiz Party, No Lele, Love My Baby, True Love, Ginger, while spraying water on fans as his usual tradition in shows.



Wizkid came back shirtless for the last round of his performance in white pants and a sailor hat as he performed the global hit Essence.

The Spurs was filled with fireworks as the crowd sang along to 'you don't need no other body'.


Wizkid ended the night with one of his hit songs Joro, leaving fans in awe as they vibed to the tune.

Wizkid has successfully sold out Eventim Apollo 5k+ capacity, 5k+ capacity Royal Albert Hall, 9K capacity Prospect Park, 20K capacity 02 Arena, 17K capacity Ziggo Dome, 20K capacity Accor Arena, 20k capacity Madison Square Garden, and now the 60k+ capacity Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Over the years, Wizkid continues to write his name on the sands of time as a musical luminary and never fails to prove his god status in the African music industry as he keeps putting Afrobeats on the map.
