At the close of trading on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) recorded a total of 439.6 million shares exchanged in 13,087 deals, with a total market turnover of NGN 8.48 billion. This marked a 24% increase in trading volume and a 7% rise in turnover compared to the previous trading session on Monday, January 20. However, the number of deals declined by 6%.

• The market capitalization of the NGX now stands at NGN 63.3 trillion.

• A total of 127 equities participated in trading, with 29 stocks gaining and 28 stocks declining.
