Two Brothers are arrested for stealing a client's car at a car wash.
2 brothers named Emmanuel & Sunday Nwachukwu have been arrested while fleeing with a client’s car
The Police operatives in Ogun State made this arrest just recently. They apprehended these 2 brothers Emmanuel Nwachukwu who is 28, and Sunday Nwachukwu who is 24, who were both on the run for allegedly stealing a Toyota Camry car, at a car wash.
Reports state that they were driving the stolen vehicle to Imo State.
Mr Abimbola Oyeyemi, a spokesperson of the command mentioned that they, the Federal Highway patrol had arrested these men at a checkpoint along the highway.
He mentioned that when they stopped the vehicle for a routine check that night around past 11pm, these brothers abandoned the car and ran away.
They suddenly ran while the police officers were asking questions as a part of their routine. This action was very strange and the policemen ran after them.
The brothers were caught, arrested and taken to Ewu-Oliwo division for further interrogation.
During the interrogation, they confessed to stealing the car.
Further investigation was carried out and they found out the owner of the stolen car confirmed that these brothers worked at a car wash close to his own shop. He took his car to them to wash and they ran away with it.
