16-year-old boy arrested and detained in Sagamu for having an iPhone in his possession

An aggrieved mother took to her X account to announce the sudden arrest of her 16-year-old boy by men of the Nigerian Police Force in Sagamu. Via her X page with the handle @_MumJeans, she narrated how her child who was visiting his uncle in Sagamu was sent to purchase fuel. Hours passed by and the young boy hadn't returned home. Panic quickly set in as the uncle called another of their relative to report the situation of things, while he checked the fuel station to get any information regarding the boy's whereabouts.

After gathering some information, they found out that the 16-year-old boy was apprehended by the Police because they found an iPhone on him. The most surprising thing was that the boy had been locked away in a cell, while the police officials continuously threatened him into admitting that he was a Yahoo Boy.

It is the nightmare of every parent to see their child in that state and things like this are becoming rampant in Nigeria.
