17 year old boy commits suicide in Benue state
A teenage boy who is only 17 years old has recently committed suicide in Benue state. This young boy killed herself 2 days ago which was a Thursday, September 21, 2023. It was the men of the Benue state police Command who revealed the tragic news on Friday.
They revealed this young boy who has been identified as Terhemba Tyochivir committed suicide on Thursday. This was in Makurdi, in Benue state.
SP Sewuese Anene who is the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), was the one who confirmed the incident to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
She revealed that this boy was a student of the Government Secondary School, in Gboko, Benue state. She revaled that the details of this incident are still quite sketchy at the time. She shared that this incident was reported at the E Division Police Station, in Makurdi.
The boy had been rushed to the hospital immediately he was discovered but there at the hospital, he was confirmed dead. He had been taken to the Bishop Murray Hospital Makurdi. His body has now been deposited in the morgue.
The police have made efforts to speak to the father of the young boy who passed away but they haven't been able to make progress. Mr Kula Tyochivir who is the father has refused to speak on the incident for now and insists on a later time.
