17 year old stabs phone dealer to death in Katsina
A young teenager of 17 years old has stabbed a phone dealer to death in Katsina State.
This boy is a senior in secondary school In Katsina State. He has been identified as Abdulrahman Ibrahim.
He was arrested by the Police for staving this man to death after he had snatched the phone of the victim.
Ibrahim was part of the 74 suspects that were paraded at the Katsina State Police Command headquarters in the state. This was on Monday.
These men were paraded for various offenses and crimes. Some were hard drug dealers, informants to bandits etc.
The police revealed that they arrested this boy on the 21st of April in 2023. This was after he had lured the deceased who was a phone dealer to an area in the town and then stalled him in his neck.
He had attacked him and killed him by stabbing him with a knife.
Ibrahim revealed during an interview that he had killed this man in self-defense.
He says he killed him because the deceased wanted to kill him and had injured his hand.
He said this in Hausa language
CSP Gambo Isah who is the spokesperson of the command mentioned that they arrested all these suspects who were paraded in different parts of the town. These parts are known as black spots in the town.
