2 men remanded in prsion for raping a 16 year old girl.
The Ondo court has remanded 2 men, one who is a footballer, and the other a plumber for raping 16 year old girl recently.
The footballer has been identified as Babajide Folorunso while the plumber has been identified as Damilola Ayodeji. These men have been ordered by a court sitting in Oke-Eda in Akure, Ondo state to be remanded in prison.
This was due to their criminal of raping a teenager who is 16 years old.
These men were brought before the Court on two counts of conspiracy and rape. They had committed this crime on the 24th of March 2023. This happened around 5pm that day at Igisogba ijoka, in Akure.
It was the officials of Ondo State Ministry Women Affairs who arraigned them for their crimes.
The court didn't take their pleas for want of jurisdiction. They were then subjected to be remanded at the Olokuta correctional centre.
The case was then adjourned till August 24, 2023.
