Peter Okoye of PSquare, a well-known Nigerian musician, has reacted to presidential aspirant Peter Obi's decision to leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

On Wednesday, the former PDP presidential candidate announced his decision to leave the opposition party due to recent developments within the party.

Obi stated that continuing to participate and contribute constructively to the PDP was practically impossible.

Peter responded via Twitter, saying that his support for Peter Obi is unwavering regardless of which political party he belongs to.

"Anywhere he (Peter Obi) goes, we move with him," he tweeted. "I don't have time!" We're following him because he's an individual, not because he's a member of a political party! "We're on our way!"

Meanwhile, after Peter Obi announced his resignation from the PDP, a poster depicting him running for president with former Kano State lawmaker Rabiu Kwankwaso as his running mate surfaced online.

Obi may be running for president on the platform of the New Nigerian People's Party, NNPP, according to a poster titled "For Equity and Fairness 2023."

The former Anambra Governor, on the other hand, has yet to announce his next move.
