3 killed in Kwara State by suspected cultists.
3 people have been reportedly killed in some communities in Kwara State by some armed men who are suspected to be cultists.
A young man, Samad who is 23 years old is one of the victims who was killed in Ilorin.
Reports state that members of a cult had killed him. His body was dumped in front of a mosque in the Ilorin East Local Government Area in Ilorin.
The hand of the deceased was cut off and one of his eyes was plucked out before the corpse was dumped there. He had been shot also.
This created panic among the people in the area and community.
A witness in the area said some men who were armed had come to that area around 9pm on Sunday. Samad had come out in the early hours of Monday around 4am and he was then shot.
The body had been buried in a cemetery in Ilorin that same Monday.
2 other people in the same Ilorin were also killed. Some men had reportedly trailed them from lagos.
This happened in the Ganmo area. The 2 men Thompson and Abdulwaheed were the ones who were killed.
Osakanmi Ajayi who is the spokesman for the State Police Command in Ilorin was the one who confirmed this incident.
He also stated that investigation has begun into the case.
