3 victims rescued from crushed vehicle in Lagos state
3 people were rescued recently from a crushed vehicle in Lagos state after an accident. The vehicle got crushed by a container which fell on the car trapping these victims inside.
This incident took place around 8pm on Sunday night which was the 24th of September. The heavy container container was 40ft had fallen on this Toyota Corolla car. This happened in the Ojuelegba area of Lagos State. The truck which was transporting this container had been trying to ascend the bridge when the container tripped.
It was the Director of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye who revaled this via a statement recently. She revaked that these 3 victims included 2 males and 1 female.
The statement read “The rescue alert which was triggered at 20:45 hours Sunday had the Sari Iganmu Rescue Crew of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service among other State Emergency Responders including sympathizers rescued alive two male adult and a female adult who are occupants of the car while trailer driver with assistant escaped.”
The victims were given first aid treatment on the spot before they were taken to the Lagos State Accident and Trauma Center for treatment.
