40 criminals paraded by the Police in Ogun state
About criminals were paraded by the Police in Ogun state on Wednesday.
They were paraded for various crimes which they had committed and such includes armed robbery, cultism and murder.
It was the state Commissioner of Police, Olanrewaju Oladimeji, who paraded the suspects at the headquarters of the Police Command in Abeokuta.
He also revealed that they had arrested them from within and outside the state.
Some of them like Adeshina Idris, Michael Bob and Abdul Omotoyosi were arrested for conspiracy, armed robbery and stealing in Lagos State. They had beme able to recover a stolen Toyota car from him.
He revealed that a man named Wasiu Odubote was arrested for shop breaking and stealing in Igbeba, Ijebu-Ode. His gang members who aided him had been able to escape.
The police had also paraded some men who had alleged planned to disrupt the inauguration of Dapo Abiodun who is the state governor. These men include James Abiodun, Adedapo Taiwo, Noah Jogunom and Arogundade Idowu.
These men were found with Barreta pistol, live ammunition and charms in their possession.
Those arrested for culitsn in Atan-Ijebu include Otuneye Samuel, Onasanya Opeoluwa, Ayanbade Owolabi and Friday Daniel.
He also said the Police command will keep arresting suspects of cultism in the state because the cases keep increasing.
