A 65-year-old pastor known as Timothy Adedibu was arrested on 15th February 2024 for molesting a 9-year-old girl in the Magboro area of Obafemi Owode LGA, Ogun State.
According to reports, the 65-year-old clergyman who owns a church in the area, lured the little girl into his home and forced himself on her. The uncle of the girl discovered and alerted the police immediately.
The clergyman has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command and the minor has been taken to the hospital for medical examination and treatment. The police have also assured the family of the victim that the investigation is ongoing and justice will be served.
