UK prime minister Rishi Sunak has expressed his views on gender ideology saying, a man is a man and a woman is a woman.
The prime minister addressed this in his speech during the 2023 Conservative Party conference yesterday taking his stand on the gender ideology of the transgender community.
He stated, "A man is a man and a woman is a woman. That's just common sense. We shouldn't get bullied into believing that people can be any sex they want to be."
Also, Rishi Sunak said it shouldn't be a problem for parents to want to know what their children are being taught in schools about gender and relationship. They have every right to know what their kids are going through when they leave for school in the morning.
Rishi Sunak's views goes against the popular view that a child can suffer from gender dysphoria and decide to transition from one gender to another.
While some agree with the prime Minister's view and some are blatantly against it, gender identity continues to be a pressing topic in today's world as the cultural shift becomes more evident.
