School children and staff members of the Apostolic Faith Group of Schools who were abducted in Emure Ekiti finally regain freedom from the kidnappers' den.
Recall that a group of kidnappers attacked a school bus filled with over 25 school kids and five staff members of the Apostolic Faith Group of Schools in Emure-Ekiti while returning home after school hours.
A government official confirmed the release of the victims in the early hours of Sunday, 4th February 2024. They were all taken to a health center in Ado-Ekiti for immediate medical treatment as the children had already lost strength.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be confirmed whether the kidnappers released the victims after paying the N15M ransom or rescued by the police however, a video of the victims shortly after their release has been trending online.
