Alhaji Ibrahim Oyinlade, the abducted 67-year-old Chief Imam of the Uso Community in Ondo state, has been released by his kidnappers.

Recall that Alhaji Ibrahim was abducted while working on his farm located at Asolo Farm camp, and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of ten million naira for his release.

The state police also tried their best to search for the victim when they got the report. The Ondo's Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, had earlier stated that policemen were deployed to search for the victim.

As of the time of writing this, it is not confirmed whether the family of Alhaji Ibrahim ended up paying the ransom or not. However, he was released on Sunday evening and has reunited with his family.
