Abia first lady says the women rescued from baby factory will be rehabilitated
The first lady of Abia State, Mrs Priscilla Otti, who is the wife of the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti has revealed that the pregnant women who were rescued from the baby factory will be rehabilitatiled.
She revealed that they are taking the rightful actions to ensure these women who were rescued from the baby factory in the Isialangwa South Local Government Area in Abia State are rehabilitated.
She had paid a visit to the young women who were being taken care of in the Madonna College of Health Technology, Olokoro, Umuahia. It was then she mentioned this.
She expressed how sad she was over this incident and how such an act was going on in the state but then mentioned that the government was providing temporary care for these women.
She also said that the government would partner with some churches, charity homes, and others so as to provide the needed assistance to care for these ladies and their children
The provost of the Madonna College of Health Technology, Olokoro, Rev. Fr. Christian Anokwuru also mentioned that these ladies had been brought to them after the state government rescued them few days ago.
He also revealed how they have all undergone tests and treatments as their health deems.
