Accident at Lagos-Ibadan expressway leaves 2 people injured
An accident which occured at Lagos-Ibadan expressway recently had led to 2 people being injured. There were 8 people involved in the accident but luckily no one died.
This happened early yesterday morning, Wednesday.
Only 2 people sustained injuries from the accident. 4 vehicles were involved in the accident.
This incident occurred when a truck which was transporting cows crashed into three other vehicles on the expressway.
This happened at the Sagamu-Interchange area of the expressway. It was a truck, two Toyota Hiace buses and one Toyota SUV that were involved in the crash.
They revealed that the truck that was transporting the cows had lost control and then crashed into the other vehicles leading to a multiple crash.
These vehicles all got damaged but luckily now life was lost.
There had been traffic on the way when this truck lost control and crashed into the vehicles in front.
The Ogun State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ahmed Umar, has confirmed this incident.
He revealed that there were 4 vehicles, 8 people involved but only 2 were injured.
He revealed that these 2 people have been taken to hospital for immediate treatment.
Some witnesses claim that they believe the driver of the truck was the one who wasn't concentrating so as to see the traffic ahead when he crashed into them.
