Actor Junior Pope and three others die in a boating accident
Nollywood actor Junior Pope has reportedly passed away after a boating accident that occurred today, the 10th of April. He had just posted a video of him enjoying a boat cruise on Instagram while returning from a film location in Anambra State. The boat driver happened to be over-speeding and Pope kept pleading with him to take things easy. News reaching us confirmed that the actor and three of his colleagues have all drowned in one Anam river in Anambra State, just a few minutes after sharing that video and their bodies have reportedly been retrieved from the river as of the time of filing this article.
It is so unfortunate that Pope kept pleading with the boat driver to drive slowly while saying he's got three children to raise at home. He is now survived by his wife and three kids and the identities of the other accident victims haven't been disclosed.
