Adamu Garba claims there's no violence in lagos
A former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba claimed in a tweet yesterday that there was no violence in Lagos state for the gubernatorial elections.
The gubernatorial elections held yesterday in Nigeria and there were series of posts about violence happening in lagos State.
Mr Garba made a post on twitter claiming he wasbcurrently in Lagos and he can confirm that there is no violence in the southwestern state.
There are so many videos and pictures showing evidence that there was infact violence, threats and disruptions during the election process.
This is almost the same as what happened during the presidential elections too. There was lots of cases of violent actions during the election in February.
Mr Garba stated that the people whoe are creating chaos and violence were doing so for their benefit. He mentioned that what is being projected online is not actually happening on ground and told people to ignore such.
Many people have come out to express their anger over the statement Mr Garba has made regarding the elections yesterday.
