Adewale Egbedun emerges Speaker in 8th Osun Assembly
Mr Adewale Egbedun has emerged as the Speaker in the 8th Osun State House of Assembly.
He is the lawmaker representing the Odo-Otin State Constituency.
He was revealed as the speaker of the 8th osun assembly yesterday, Tuesday, June 6th, 2023.
Adewale Egbedun is a member of of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and he had been nominated by Abiola Ibrahim who is representing the Irewole/Isokan Constituency.
The deputy speaker has also been revealed and this is Mr Akinyode Oyewusi. He is also a lawmaker representing the Ife North State Constituency.
He had been nominated by Elisha Oderinwale, who is a lawmaker representing the Ayedire State Constituency.
After this the oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office was administered on both the speaker and the deputy speaker who had been nominated.
The oath was administered by the clerk of the assembly, Mr Simeon Amusan.
The new speaker then gave his speech and urged the members of the assembly to join hands with him so as to run a true and new age Osun House of Assembly”.
