AFCON 2023: Victor Osimhen to undergo drug test following his impressive performance against Cameroon​

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has announced that Nigerian professional footballer Victor Osimhen is going to undergo a drug test. This was due to his impressive performance at the recently concluded match against Cameroon where Nigeria led by 2-0. Osimhen was said to be unreasonably fast and full of energy on the football pitch and this caught the attention of members of the Confederation of Africa Football(CAF), arousing suspicions and making them decide to test Osimhen to see if he had secretly taken some drugs to boost his speed.

While this is going on, the Super Eagles are preparing to play against Angola in the quarter-finals.

Victor James Osimhen is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Nigerian Super Eagles and Serie A club, Napoli. Born in Lagos Nigeria on the 29th of December, 1998, Osimhen is one of Nigeria's best male footballers. He is known for his strength, athleticism, finishing, and pace on the football pitch. He has played for clubs like VfL Wolfsburg, Charleroi, and Lille, but currently plays for Napoli.
