Victor Osimhen has fired a warning to his Super Eagles teammates ahead of their final group game against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau.

Osimhen, who starred for the Super Eagles scoring a quick leveler in the Super Eagles' AFCON opener against Equatorial Guinea, will be hoping to lead the three-time African champions to victory against the Djurtus.

It will be a tricky tie for the AFCON title hopefuls coming against the Djurtus, who will hope to prove a point by salvaging a win against the Super Eagles after settling for defeat in their opening two games.

On the other hand, the Super Eagles will be hoping to wrestle the top spot from Equatorial Guinea or Ivory Coast with nothing less from a win against the Djurtus.

Ahead of the clash, Victor Osimhen has fired a warning to his Super Eagles teammate. The Napoli sensation and CAF Footballer of the Year has urged his teammates not to underrate the Djurtus but to prepare for a strong and tough contest between the two sides.

“We aim for a strong performance against Guinea-Bissau. They will undoubtedly approach the game with determination, and we won’t underestimate any team, considering what they’ve done to qualify," Osimhen said.

Guinea-Bissau are edging close to elimination from the tournament after suffering defeats to tournament hosts Ivory Coast and Equatorial Guinea.

The Djurtus will be expected to give the Super Eagles a tough run heading into the final group game.

Nigeria are regarded as a tournament favorite after seeing off the hosts Cote D'Ivoire with a narrow 1-0 win. William-Troost Ekong scored from the spot to give the Super Eagles the lead.

The goal was enough to seal all three points for the AFCON title hopefuls while condemning the Elephants to a shock defeat in front of their roaring home fans.
