Air Peace says they are ready to evacuate Nigerians in Sudan
Air peace, one of Nigeria's largest Airlines which is a domestic airline, has revealed they are ready to evacuate Nigerians who are stranded in Sudan.
They revealed they will evacuate them for free. Recall Nigerians who were stranded in Sudan during the cause of the ongoing violence in Sudan pleaded with the federal government to evacuate them.
They pleaded for help from the government as they were also running for their lives.
This won't be the first time the airline would be evacuating Nigerians from another country during a crisis. They once did this In 2019.
The Chairman of Air Peace, Mr Allen Onyema has revealed that he is compelled to help because Nigeria can't afford to lose their people in Sudan.
He said it is his commitment to ensure that they are all safe. He mentioned that not everything should be left for the Government.
He said this situation is an urgent one which requires immediate action.
He said they will evacuate them free of charge if the government will get them a sage airport in any country that borders Sudan.
He said if they are moved to another country, they would get them out.
