Akwa Ibom Governor, Umo Eno pays condolence visit to Abigail's family
The governor of Akwa Ibom has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Abigail Fredrick, the makeup artist who died in the Anam River incident following a boat accident. The time spent with that family was highly emotional as everyone broke down in tears over the death of their 24-year-old daughter and sister.
The governor sympathized with the family and recounted how Abigail didn't die doing an illegal job. She was neither a prostitute nor a thief. Rather, she was a true hustler who worked hard to fend for herself and her siblings. The governor then promised to do right by the family and not abandon them. Recall that on the 10th of April, 24-year-old Abigail lost her life alongside four others who drowned in the Anam River on their way returning from a movie shoot. Her body was found several hours after she drowned and she was buried by the riverbank. However, governor Umo Eno has ordered the immediate exhumation of her body so it would be transported to her parent's house for a proper burial.
