Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has finally returned to social media weeks after he was bullied online by Nigerians over his lackluster performance in the 2023 African Cup of Nations Final.

Recall that Iwobi deleted all the photos on his Instagram page because some Nigerian fans trolled him online after Ivory Coast defeated Nigeria in the 2023 African Cup of Nations final.

Some Nigerians directed all the blame on him, resulting in a barrage of threats and insults on his Instagram page.

The player returned to the Instagram page with a video showing clips of his performance in the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

Also, the video showed different football clips and an exhibition of his self-confidence, disregarding those who felt he was not good enough.

The video is believed to be a preview of what seems to be an unreleased rap song.


Football Stars Who Were in Support of Iwobi While He Was Bullied by the Super Eagles Fans

Super Eagles veteran Ahmed Musa, Omeruo, and Victor Osimhen showed the utmost support for the Fulham attacker after he was heavily attacked by Super Eagles fans.

Victor Osimhen ignored interviews due to the fact that Iwobi was heavily bullied. Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala fought everyone that came against Iwobi on social media.

His uncle, Jay Jay Okocha, told him to put his head up, stating the facts that criticism is part of football.
