Ahmadu Bello University is a federal government University in Zaria, Nigeria. The university was Founded on the 4th of October 1962. The Founder of the University is Sir Ahmadu Bello. The University was first named the University of Northern Nigeria in 1962 before the name changed. This was the first University in Northern Nigeria. ABU management revealed that the admission list for the 2023/2024 session is out. They disclosed months ago that the latest date for the admission list to be released is the 20th of September, 2023.

The Post UTME exercise for ABU is out. The screening exercise commenced earlier this year. Only candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME and chose Ahmadu Bello University as their first choice are eligible for screening.
Registeration for post utme 2023/2024 commneced on the 18th July to 18th August 2023. The screening took place on the 21st of August to the 26th August 2023. The cost for screening was N2,000 and candidates are advised advised pay via remita.
