Popular musician Amaarae has revealed how she was once offered a recharge card to perform.
Ama Serwah Genfi, known popularly as Amaarae. She is a Ghanaian singer.
She mentioned this during an interview with 3FM 92.7, Accra, Ghana. She mentioned that they wanted to pay her to perform using airtime at an event.
They had offered airtime worth GH₵100 to perform at their event
She recalls how when she started, some weren't even trying to pay her for performances.
She mentioned how the same platform years after trying to pay with a recharge card is now paying a huge amount of money.
She refused to disclose the platform who did that.
She also revealed that she has made 2 unreleased songs with a popular Nigerian singer, Ruger.
She mentioned that collaborating with other artists showcases diversity and so she loves it.
