Popular American rapper, ASAP Rocky is set to face trial for shooting at a friend. The rapper was recently accused of firing a gun at his friend, ASAP Relli. Relli happens to be Rocky's childhood friend. The alleged incident occured in 2021. He had fired his gun at his friend and now he will face trial in 2024. A preliminary hearing was held recently in Los Angeles and it is said that there is enough evidence to try ASAP Rocky

An initial trial was held on Monday, the 20th of November 2023. ASAP Relli, who is the friend accusing Ricky of this crime claimed that he was hit by some fragments of bullets when Rocky shot at him. He revealed that this had landed him in a hospital in New York. The court showed photos of the injuries Relli sustained in the incident between himself himself Rocky.
Relli shared the details of what happened back in November 2021. He claimed that Rocky grabbed him by his collar and didn't let go. He had tried to pry Rocky's hands of himself when suddenly Rokcy pulled out his gun. He stated that Rocky pointed the gun to his stomach shouting that he was going to kill him. Relli had also edged him on, saying he should Shoot.
He stated "He had the gun pressed up against me, to my chest then head. I said, ‘Shoot it’ because I was mad, why you bring a gun if you're not going to use it?’ I would never bring a weapon. Not in that situation. Rocky turned around and shot at me.”
Rocky's team have denied all these allegations, saying he was innocent. They also claimed that the injuries that were seen on Relli weren't caused by Rocky. ASAP Rocky then pleaded not guilty to the two count charges which were read against him. The charges were assault with a firearm. They are set to meet in court in January 2024.
