Angry Youths set Lagos police station on fire

Some angry youths have set a police station in Lagos on fire in the early hours of today.
This happened this morning, Monday, May 29.

The police station is located in Oregun area in Ikeja, Lagos State. They set the place on fire and even injured a policeman who was on duty there. He was injured on his head.

The policeman who was injured was rushed to the emergency ward in the hospital.

We aren't sure of the motive behind this attack yet as at the time of writing this.

The Lagos state fire service was contacted and they dispatched their men to the scene to control the situation.

They were able to put out the fire but some parts of the station had been affected and destroyed.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the state Police Public Relations Officer confirmed this Incident. He said that they have begun an investigation into this case.

He also revealed that they haven't made any arrest of any supply behind this.
