Italian tactician Antonio Conte has stoked up reports on a possible return to management with his former club Juventus.
Conte has been without a managerial job since March 2023, when he left Tottenham Hotspur by mutual consent, only 16 months after he was appointed.
Antonio Conte endured a rocky stay at Spurs, and he left the club following a lengthy rant in a presser questioning the desire and attitude of the players and even administrators of the team.
Since he departed from North London, he has been linked with a host of notable teams in the Serie A, including; Napoli and AS Roma.
Following a shaky start to the season for Napoli under Rudi Garcia, they were looking for a manager to take over the club.
Garcia was dismissed by the Neapolitans earlier in November, with Walter Mazzarri brought in as his replacement on a seven-month deal.
For Roma, Jose Mourinho has expressed his commitment to the club, and as such, the Giallorossi aren't focused on signing any manager yet.
Juventus, currently managed by Massimiliano Allegri, have also had an impressive start to the season and their focus is also currently not fixated on bringing any manager, which could distort the rhythm.
However, Antonio Conte was questioned about a potential return to Juventus, where he won 3 Serie A titles, and he insisted that a possible reunion could be on the cards.
Speaking at an event at the University of Salento, based on reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Conte said: “Marriages are done in two, you can always dream and hope to get married another time.
“The important thing is that there is sharing of thoughts. But now I want to make the most of my free time, continuing to study to broaden my knowledge.”
Antonio Conte won several trophies as a player of Juventus, winning 5 Serie A titles and 1 UEFA Champions League.
Additionally, the Italian also won 3 Serie A titles and 2 Supercoppa Italiana as manager of the club between 2011 and 2014.
Reports also indicate that Conte has also been courted by the leading clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
Meanwhile, Juventus sit 2nd on the Italian Serie A table, with 29 points from 12 league matches.
They welcome Inter Milan to the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, November 26, 2023, in a clash involving 1st and 2nd on the league table.
A victory for Massimiliano Allegri's side would see them leapfrog the Nerazzurri to the summit of the log.
The Old Lady aren't in any European engagements and as such, they can focus fully on the Italian Serie A and cup games in Italy.
Juventus have won the most league titles in Italy, with 36 Serie A titles won, and they are followed by rivals Inter Milan and AC Milan with 18 Serie A titles.
