APC wins all House of Assembly seats in Niger state during Supplementary elections


The All Progressives Congress (APC) won all the 4 House of Assembly seats in Niger State and this was during the supplementary elections.

Recall the supplementary elections were held on the 15th of April, 2023 which was last week Saturday.

This was held in 4 local government areas and 15 polling units in the state.

The councils included Agaie, Agwara, Rafi and Rijau.

In Agaie, it was Muhammad Isa Etsu-Agaie who won, in Agwara it was Mohammed Garba who won, in Rujau, it was Bako Bello Alhaji who won and in Rafi, it was Zubairu Ismaila who was declared the winner.

At the moment, after the supplementary election results have been released the All Progressives Congress now has 20 out of the 27 constituency seats at the State House of Assembly in Niger State.
