Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has issued a stern warning to Nigerian parents to ensure to save their children's tuition fees the same way they are seriously planning for the festive season.

The festive season is a major time for all families across the world to come together, celebrate the year and also prepare for the new one. Due to the festivities, people engage in wasteful spending and get lost in the moment. However, actress Yvonne Jegede has urged Nigerian parents not to neglect their sole priority which is their children as a new session starts in January.

She advised parents to save their children's school fees because school resumes in the next three weeks. She said they shouldn't go about asking for financial assistance when they can save themselves the stress.


Yvonne Jegede is a Nigerian actress and model. She shot into the limelight after her appearance in singer 2baba's music video for his song "African Queen". She is 40 years old. Jegede grew up in Lagos before proceeding to the University of Cyprus to study International Relations. She has starred in various movies including Okafor's Law, 10 Days in Sun City, My Best Friend's Wedding among others.
