Ashbury shares reason for being single, says she is richer than the men who approach her
Popular Nigerian brand influencer Ashmusy has revealed why she is still single. She revealed that this is as a result of being richer than most of the men who have been approaching her for a relationship.
Her real name is Amarachi Amusi but she is popularly known as Ashmusy. She revealed this information about relationships recently during an interview with Zicsaloma (Aloma Isaac Junior) on the most recent episode of Tell me your story podcast.
She shared that she is earning more than many of the men who have been approaching her and this is an issue because most Nigerian men don't handle their women earning more than them well.
She revealed that she even asks them how much they earn because she wants her man to be earning more than she does. She wants to know how much they earn per month.
In her words “I want my man to be bigger than me; to be my head. To be way way richer than me like let my money be nothing compared to his, you know. But when I ask them and they tell me, even the ones that are doing good, I’m still doing better based on what I make. So at the end, it is still like I’m still on top. Most men I meet are making less than what I make in a month. And it feels bad because I want some that will make more.”
Zicsaloma asked her of this applies to other female celebrities and of this is why most are still single or not married and she agreed saying it does affect others too.
