Asisat Oshoala shares interesting excerpt from winning the CAF African Women's Best Player of the Year Award​

Nigerian professional footballer Asisat Oshoala has won the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Best African Women's Player of the Year Award. This makes it her sixth time of bagging the CAF award inspiring Barcelona to Champions League glory.

She beat South African Thembi Kgatlana and Zambia’s Barbara Banda to reclaim her crown as the Best African Female Player at the CAF Awards which was held in Marrakech, Morocco on the 11th of December, 2023. Agba baller as Asisat is fondly called has once again, made her family, fans, and Nigeria ooid of her achievements.

Asisat Oshoala is a famous Nigerian professional footballer who plays for the Super Falcons team. The 29-year-old also plays as a striker for Barcelona, a Spanish Liga club. Agba Baller was born and raised in Ikorodu. Her excellent skills on the football pitch have gained her widespread recognition and sealed her name in the hearts of soccer lovers. She is the CEO of The Asisat Oshoala Football Academy in Surulere, Lagos State, an academy for training aspiring female footballers.
