Netizens have been talking about the lyrics of the freestyle rap that Nigerian singer Chinko Ekun recently dropped. He freestyled about his struggles as a musician since the beginning of his career and how he had thought switching record labels would uplift his career.

Chinko Ekun said, "At a point I was bubbling in YBNL, and then I dropped. I hustled and got signed into a Dubai label, and I still flopped. Could it my mistake or life is being unfair to me? Or could it be bad luck from girls that have slept with me? I'm losing my head even the therapist won't attend to me. You just have to keep moving that's what my mama said to me. Could it be because I'm cool and truly reserved? That's why they don't give me the accolades that I truly deserve."

Chinko Ekun said in his freestyle rap that people won't find him at a party due to his social anxiety. He added how people are against narrating one's struggles on social media whereas the same set of people would question why you didn't speak up when going through difficult times.
