Attack on Plateau community leads to death of 14
An attack on some Plateau communities has led to the death of 14 people. These people were killed in Bwai and Chisu communities which are located in Mangu local government area.
The incident had occurred on Tuesday, late at night. The attackers had come into the community, attacked the people and burnt some homes.
They burned houses, churches, vehicles etc. They also shot their guns and when epipke heard the gunshot, they ran to their community leader's house but it had been engulfed in flames.
They were able to pack 14 dead bodies and continued the search.
Mr Markus Artu who is the Interim Management Committee Chairman of Mangu LGA confirmed the incident.
He says he is yet to get the full details and would do so.
