Aurora Cannabis (ACB.TO)(ACB) posted a deeper-than-expected loss in its third quarter while reporting stronger cannabis sales and slimmer costs as the company works to turn a profit by year’s end.

The Edmonton-based producer reported a $137.4 million net loss, an improvement from the $1.3 billion lost in the prior three months.
