Auto crash in Jigawa claims 7 lives, leaves 5 injured.
An auto crash which occurred in Jugawa recently has claimed the lives of 7 people.
This accident killed 7 while 5 others were injured.
This accident took place on Monday and this was at Kirila village which is located along Birniwa-Malammadori road in Jigawa State.
It was the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Gambo Ibrahim, who confirmed this incident.
He confirmed this while giving a Road Traffic Crash report in Dutse, Jigawa state.
He revealed that 5 people were injured in the crash. He also added that the rash happened in the afternoon around 1:30 p.m. on that Monday. He said these victims have been taken to the Birniwa General Hospital for medical treatment.
He revealed that out of the 7 people who lost their lives, 5 were males while the other 2 were females. The deceased have also been taken to the hospital morgue.
He shared that the cause of the accident has not been ascertained. An investigation is still underway. They haven't released the vehicles involved in the accident. Further details to come later.
He went ahead to advise motorists and road users to beware of speeding, and road traffic laws violation. He also urged them to avoid overloading their vehicles too.
